Verena Tagmann

Verena is a mixed media artist and a printmaker (original handmade prints). Verena's works are semi abstract or abstract: colour, shape and lines are expressing her environment and her thoughts, aiming at emotion rather than realistic representation of a subject. Creating an artwork is constant searching and finding. It is the experience of an ongoing process — responding to the world around her and trying to find a certain freedom. 8 years ago, she started to learn the handmade printing process attending different workshops — creating printing plates and print originals is now a part of her passion. Verena Tagmann lives in Whitianga / Coromandel Peninsula / New Zealand.
